"Kvinde kend dig selv" is a book by Danish doctor Maria Langbak that explores women’s health from a broader and more holistic perspective. The publication challenges traditional assumptions about the female body and advocates for a more nuanced understanding of health that considers the whole person — not only symptoms and clinical measurements.
The project was developed in close collaboration with Maria Langbak and Mille Fine Bjerre, who created the visual concept for the book. Building on this foundation, I developed the book’s design and typographic structure, focusing on clarity and a calm visual rhythm that supports the content while maintaining a consistent visual language. I also managed the production and print process to ensure the final publication maintained the intended visual quality.
The result is a book where typography, layout, and materiality work together to create a coherent reading experience.
